Most of the information is wrong regarding this club. Some of the dates are also incorrect. I have a history of the WAFL and will do a lot of research before I edit the topic. I also feel that the tone of this page shows maybe some spite towards the event of the AFL national competition. - Goldenblue

If you're doing that, it might be worth checking the veracity of the claim that WAFL attendances dropped at the point West Coast joined the VFL. Without having clear sources, I seem to recall that WAFL attendances had actually been dropping for years (particularly the early 1980s) and prior to the advent of the national competition. That the national competition had an impact is undeniable, but that assertion seems somewhat less that 100% accurate - Mr Q 04:17, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
