[edit] Please provide a source that the Geats also lived in Skåneland

To the anonymous editor.

It is certainly true that in modern Sweden, Götaland is seen as including Skåneland, but I have never seen Danish sources describing Denmark's former eastern provinces as part of Götaland. The article about the Geats only mentions Väster- and Östergötland and the map doesn't show any Geat settlements south of Småland. Gotland is normally not included in Skåneland. Please provide a reference for the theory that the Geats also lived in Scania. Valentinian (talk) 22:59, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

I agree, we need to make a historical Götaland map. In the Götaland article. So it's shows what Götaland was and what Skåneland was. You are the man to do that Valentinian ;o). --Comanche cph 17:29, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
