Why is Romania in pink? Nothing in the Soviet Bloc article gives any firm indication why. —Psychonaut 17:10, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

Albania and Romania weren't as tightly woven into the Eastern Bloc as the other nations were. Hoxha in Albania tried to play the USSR and China off against each other, and Ceaucescu in Romania took a far more independent line than the other Warsaw Pact states. 74.251.200.216 (talk) 21:42, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
