East Grand Rapids Middle School is a middle school located in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is part of the East Grand Rapids Public Schools District. Breton Downs, Lakeside, and Wealthy Elementary Schools (accommodating grades Pre-K-5) send their future 6th grade classes to EGRMS. East Grand Rapids Middle School is recognized as a School of Excellence!

[edit] Staff and Students

EGRMS accepts a wide range of students from all races and ethnicities. Exceptional students from the elementary schools may be accepted into some higher level middle school classes, such as Algebra, Geometry, and Honors English. The staff of EGRMS is very supportive and encouraging of students to strive for their personal best. There are multiple instructors for all courses, including Math, Science, English/Language Arts, Challenge Language Arts (CLA), Social Studies/History, Spanish, French, Architecture, and Physical Education.
