Easington Lane is located in North East England between Houghton-le-Spring and Easington Village, in the parish of Hetton. It is the southernmost point of the City of Sunderland and Tyne and Wear.
The Village consists of a main street (the A182 road) with housing estates ether side. Its a relatively poor area with high unemployment levels. The village has changed little in the last 30 years.
New housing estate in development & new school, Easington Lane is within easy reach by car or bus to the retail parks Dalton Park and seaside. Close to all the major shopping areas: Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham.
