I removed a link citing http://www.miklagaard.com/ as a reference. The web page has a series of non-peer-reviewed original research articles. The articles do reference a few peer-reviewed papers, but nothing that supports the author's central claim of a worldwide grid of longitudinal free electron waves. Several experiments are described, but no data is presented! The author claims a huge discovery overlooked by "science", but offers only a qualitative model lacking both experimental support and rigorous theory. I believe this falls under the jurisdiction of Wikipedia's policy on self-published sources. Bardeen 23:41, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

That would be a violation of WP:FRINGE, probably WP:RS as well and raises red flags. I think I'll prod it. WLU 18:51, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
The article is set to describe a fringe theory from the beginning. These theories are quite popular in some circles in Europe and there have been TV documentaries on this, ehrm, cult on e.g. Sveriges Television. It is sufficient to justify inclusion as a widely recognized fringe theory. (Which is, by the way, insane, unintelligible and unscientific, but that is not the issue here.) I will try to find some mass media refs. Nixdorf 23:32, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Just do it by the 10th, that's when the prod expires. No reason it couldn't be re-created on a sub-page though. WLU 20:33, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Source

Here's a source:

Anyone know a way to determine if this is vanity press or other publication type that makes it virtually worthless as a reliable source? WLU 17:07, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Grid on a sphere

Has anyone believing in Curry Lines and/or Hartmann Lines ever tried to cover a sphere with a square grid, with equally sized squares?
