Earl Charles (born September 11, 1982) is a former professional American football running back in the National Football League. He was originally signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2005, but was released before the season began. He signed with the team again before the 2006 season, was injured while playing in NFL Europe, and spent the season on the team's NFL Europe injured reserve list. He played college football at Marshall University after transferring from Fresno City College.
