Eamonn Walker (born June 12, 1962) is a British film, television and theatre actor. He is perhaps best known in the US for playing Kareem Said in the American HBO television series Oz (for which he won a CableACE Award), Winston, the gay, black thorn in Alf Garnett's side in In Sickness and in Health and John Othello in the 2001 ITV1 production of Othello (for which he won a BMF[1] film and television award).[2] He also appeared in season 5 of The Bill as Police Constable Malcolm Haynes. In 2006, he starred in the Fox legal drama Justice. In 2007, he will be playing Othello at Shakespeare's Globe in London.
Walker was born in London, England to a Grenadan father, Renwick Walker, and a Trinidadan mother.[3][4]
