Welcome to Wikipedia, Dyson1! I am Zenlax and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

[edit] Speedy deletion of Agent-assisted Voice Solutions

A tag has been placed on Agent-assisted Voice Solutions requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] Dennis Adsit

I'm concerned that Dennis Adsit's articles are being added to Wikipedia to promote him. What do you know of him? --Ronz (talk) 17:12, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Please see WP:SOAP, WP:SPAM, WP:COI. --Ronz (talk) 17:51, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Here is an example of a recent edit i made on the outsourcing page:

With Call Centers the quality of service a customer gets is almost completely a function of the quality of the agent a customer happens to reach: if you get a good agent you get good service; if you get a bad agent, you get bad service. [1] Call Centers are beginning to address this by using technology to standardize and continuously improve the process across all agents.[2]

I have highlighted a significant long standing problem in the outsourcing industry identified by research in the Harvard Business Review and have added an article by Dennis with control group data, published in a refereed journal to show how companies are beginning to address this problem. I think this is a strong add to a weak section of the Outsourcing page. Please advise if there is a better way to do this.Dyson1 (talk) 17:58, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Until we have the WP:SOAP, WP:SPAM, and WP:COI concerns worked out, I think you should stick to discussions on article talk pages. The concerns raised here and in Talk:Agent-assisted Voice Solutions are especially important. --Ronz (talk) 19:50, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Agent-assisted Voice Solutions

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Agent-assisted Voice Solutions, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
