[edit] What dynaTrace Does
dynaTrace Diagnostics is the only solution that collects and maps all the data about business transaction performance, enabling customers to manage enterprise applications and resolve the root cause of performance issues across the entire application life cycle.
dynaTrace Diagnostics:
- captures all discrete, individual transactions
- traces synchronous/asynchronous transactions across distributed and heterogeneous Java/J2EE/.NET environments to understand
"WHERE" performance issues exist - captures entire application context to understand
"WHY" performance issues exist - diagnoses application performance issues down to the method call
- stores and shares discrete diagnostics sessions between production/development and development/QA to reconstruct instead of reproduce
- (e.g. developers can finally see what has happened in production or QA)
- does this with extremely low overhead - supporting the entire life cycle from development to QA and testing, even enabling 7x24 monitoring and diagnosis in production - since all data is processed outside the traced application
