From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I was blocked for being a "sock" and there was a link to a "checkuser". At that link, there is no checkuser information showing that I am a "sock".

Everything I have written is completely reasonable and not disruptive. Even if there was a checkuser review, everyone who has a password to the computer here is properly vetted and are bonded employees. Furthermore, all internet traffic is monitored.

Therefore, the conclusion is that the Wikipedia Webmaster is doing Wikipedia a dis-service by blocking people. You should also note that a search engine review of Wikipedia shows that quite a few distinguished people do not think highly of Wikipedia.

In the future, webmasters should be careful not to do careless things as it reflects poorly on Wikipedia. I have much knowledge but if you don't Wikipedia to have it, I will not insist on writing it for you. Goodbye. (a public service annoucement from the Wikipedia audience). Your block

Please log into the account that was blocked and place {{unblock|YOUR_REASON}} on your talk page, filling in the reason for your unblock request. Vassyana (talk) 20:39, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

You assume that I want to fight. I do not want to fight so if you unjustly block me, so be it. You are harming Wikipedia, not me.

I am very surprised that someone wrote "::It is completely impossible for anyone to investigate this unless you give us the username that was blocked. And note there is not such thing as a "webmaster" here. --Hut 8.5 20:38, 28 May 2008 (UTC)" yet webmaster Vassyana makes it impossible to follow up the complaint.

You need to think hard about yourself, Wikipedia. Make it more customer friendly, practice good customer service, and don't chase away people who can make your encyclopedia better. You see, I have no desire to fight and won't give any more details to prove it.

Does Wikipedia management know how you are acting? Maybe they don't care if all they care is to be featured high in search engines. If so, most of you are being used.

Goodbye.

I clearly explained how you may follow up on the complaint: "Please log into the account that was blocked and place {{unblock|YOUR_REASON}} on your talk page, filling in the reason for your unblock request." Additionally, you may wish to review this page and this page, to help you understand the issues here. If you wish to clarify which account was blocked, I would be happy to post that information to the noticeboard for you. Vassyana (talk) 20:49, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

It is important that you tell us the name of the account that was originally blocked, otherwise we cannot investigate. Your failure to do so thus far leads me to suspect you of trolling. Theresa Knott | The otter sank 20:53, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Theresa, you are also acting like overxealous police by accusing me of trolling.

You assume that I want to fight. I do not want to fight so if you unjustly block me, so be it. You are harming Wikipedia, not me.

The act of blocking this account is just proof that the webmasters block first and ask questions later (like shoot first and ask questions later). You have proved at how unreasonable the webmasters are. It is as if make a comment and the police arrest you (block you) and say "just tell it to the judge". The more customer friendly approach would be to have a webmaster have a friendly discussion with me to find the problem, not just start blocking.

Again, you need to do some soul searching and fix yourself. Good luck.

OK you are definitely trolling. I'm protecting the page. Toodlepip. Theresa Knott | The otter sank 20:59, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
