Picture of lifeboat Koos van Messel, on station in IJmuiden, the Netherlands. This is one of the fleet of largest type lifeboats operated by KNRM. Overall length 18.8 meter, 2 engines of 735 kW each, top speed (on flat water) 34 knots. Picture used on the article on nl:Koninklijke Nederlandse Redding Maatschappij (KNRM, the Dutch lifeboat organisation).
