Dutchtown High School (Ascension Parish, Louisiana)

Dutchtown High School was built in 2002 in unincorporated area Ascension Parish, Louisiana. It is administered under the Ascension Parish School Board. The current principal is David Alexander. The school mascot is the Griffin and the school colors are purple, silver, black and white. A previous Dutchtown High School existed near the new high school at what is now Dutchtown Middle School. It was closed when the high schools on the east bank of the Mississippi River in Ascension Parish were consolidated into one high school, East Ascension High School. Dutchtown Middle School and Prairieville schools feed into Dutchtown high.
