Dusty Roze

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dusty Roze (stage name of Josh Harraway, born February 8, 1978) is an underground hip hop artist who raps about topics ranging from space ships to time travel. Dusty Roze's comical yet intelligent rap commentaries have caused some critics to call him the "black Weird Al Yankovic" or the "Negro Voltaire".

Several of his most popular songs include "Dear Mistah Bush" a track lampooning the president of the United States, "No Christmas For The Jehovah's Witness" a story about growing up as a member of a religion that forbids Christmas, and "Spring Break Girl" a song about the sexy adventures of a girl gone wild. Let us not forget the soon to be classic audio candy of Myspace Thug. Never has a song been so well revered upon it's initial conception.

Dusty Roze is also known for his work as a weak impersonator of the late rap artist Tupac Shakur. He duplicated several of Tupac Shakur's most famous photographs and starred in a music video where he portrays Tupac.

Also known for his comic genius of the loan chef commercial.
