Durango class

The Durango-class is a Offshore Patrol Vessel class in the Mexican Navy. This class of ship features stealth characteristics. The entire class was built in Mexican ship yards and are sometimes called compact frigates.These oceanic patrol vessels are used mainly in drug interdiction and protection of the coastal line within the 200 EE MILES. their size in length is 81.4 meters, Beam of 10.5 meters, and Draft of 3.9 meters. It has on the front Bofors 57 mm/70 SAK Mk.3,and it holds on an helicopter in their aft deck, either Bolkow B-105, Eurocopter Panther, Eurocopter Fennec or Mi-17.
