This page needs

• table of contents
• a little more context
• a way to integrate it into the autonegotiation, Ethernet over twisted pair and Duplex (telecommunications) pages. - the first two repeat some of the same information.

The table of contents is added automatically when the article contains three or more sections. It can be forced (by somethingh like __TOC__ I think, but I am not convinced this is so needed here. As for the other two points, I agree with the need for more context, but I do not think that having repeated information on different articles is necessarily a problem. Tizio 12:08, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

The Link to Ethernet auto-sensing and auto-negotiating does not work anymore. I have updated the link. 10:13, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
