Hi. I deleted the An Example of Nonsense article, as it was in fact nonsense. We don't really need any examples. Isomorphic 16:35, 31 Mar 2004 (UTC)
G'day and welcome to Wikipedia!
You've certainly taken the invitation to be bold, which is good, but I'd restrict it to articles for a little bit. Your updates to VfD may not go down too well! I'd suggest lurking there for a bit before doing any more. There's quite a lot of culture to absorb. Similarly, creating this user page was probably not a good idea. Lurk a little before playing with such ideas is my advice. Perhaps make both this and Infinite hobby subpages of your own user page instead.
A couple of things about articles. Check my comments on Talk:Neighbours, discussion needed about a couple of things IMO. And, self-references such as you added to Signal-to-noise ratio aren't useful, even (perhaps especially) if they pass through a redirect, so I'm afraid I've removed it.
Feel free to drop me a line if I can help in any way. And again, welcome! Andrewa 17:45, 31 Mar 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Subpages
To create a subpage, make a page at a name with a slash in it. You're probably looking to make User:Dunk/Infinite hobby. -- Cyrius | Talk 23:52, Mar 31, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome
Welcome to Wikipedia, Dunk. We have major differences of opinion but this is because we care so much about WP. I started in January 2003, I can't remember how I came across the 'pedia but since then I've worked unceasingly putting on images (900 so far) with rare excursions into text comments (as you know!). Enjoy yourself and good writing, Best Wishes,
