Historic Landmark in Duncan, British Columbia. Originally called the Quamichan Hotel. At the time of its burning down in 1901, a fire department (originally called Alderlea Fire Brigade, now called Duncan Volunteer Fire Dept.) was formed. It caught fire again in 1990 (at which time it was called Commercial Hotel). It "rose like a Phoenix" later, and is now called Phoenix Station Motor Inn.
