Dunedin Central by-election 1915
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Dunedin Central by-election of 1915 was a by-election during the 19th New Zealand Parliament. The by-election was sparked by the resignation of the incumbent, Charles Statham, after irregularities in the counting of the vote during the 1914 election turned a 12-vote lead for his competitor James Munro into a 12-vote loss. There were only two nominees:
| Name | Party | Votes | Percentage | |
| Charles Statham | Reform Party | 4,033 | 50.7% | |
| James Wright Munro | United Labour Party (?) | 3,926 | 49.3% |
