The Duchess of Rothesay is the Scottish equivallent of the Duchess of Cornwall.The current Duchess of Rothesay is Camilla,Duchess of Rothesay,wife of the Duke of Rothesay.She is styled as such,in Scotland, and as Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall elsewhere, rather than in the primary title of Princess of Wales probably because of the sensitivity of the public surrounding the Duke of Rothesay and Prince of Wales,Charles, Prince of Wales' first wife,Diana, Princess of Wales. It is intended that Camilla,Duchess of Rothesay/Cornwall, will upon her husband's succession to the throne, become HRH The Princess Consort.
