Removed the sentence "Also, much of the town sucess can be attribituted to Clinton West Jones born in Dublin on July 24, 1971. Mr. Jones now resides in Eastman Georgia with his wife and twin sons.". It looks like it may have been written by someone connected to Clinton West Jones, and it is not relevant to the city's profile. Regards, Claudio

Changed the sentence beginning "Because of Dublin's location as a midpoint between Savannah and Atlanta," to read "Because of Dublin's location as a midpoint between Savannah and Macon". There are more direct routes between Savannah and Atlanta that pass nowhere near Dublin. Dublin is considered the midpoint between Savannah and Macon, along the I-16 route. [edit] Pageants

Should this be here, it seems poorly written and Unnecessary. This article was already needing cleanup.--72.146.210.253 21:48, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Edit to the initial paragraph. The population data wasn't jiving. The 56,434 number applies to the Dublin micropolitan area, not to Dublin itself. Also applied some more general clean up. Eric S. 05:48, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Midway Point

As a resident of Dublin most people say Dublin is in-between Atlanta and Savannah, Not Macon That’s why all the factories are here, also I-16 is the quickest route . --68.154.22.149 17:39, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
