The Dublin Gospel Choir are an Irish Gospel Choir that have been performing in Ireland for 10 years.
Fresh from their blistering performances at Electric Picnic, collaborations with Damien Rice and John Legend among others, and two concerts with The Chieftains at the National Concert Hall, the choir released their latest album Moving On, in November 2006. Now celebrating their 10th anniversary, one of Ireland’s best-known choirs, The Dublin Gospel Choir, have performed and recorded with names such as James Brown, John Legend, Rod Steward, The Chieftains, Damien Rice, Chris de Burgh, Riverdance, The Hothouse Flowers and Paddy Casey.
In 2007, for the third year running, they performed on the Main Stage at Electric Picnic. They also featured on a BBC Songs of Praise programme on New Year’s Day 2006 which was broadcast to over 35 million viewers worldwide. They also performed for 80,000 people at Croke Park, Dublin in February 2007.
The choir, together with Paddy Casey recorded two cover songs for the charity album Even Better than the Real Thing Vol. 2: "Grandma's Hand / No Diggity" by Blackstreet, and ""Saints & Sinners"" by Paddy Casey.
