Dubai Cares (Arabic: دبي العطاء) is humanitarian initiative that seeks to provide education to children in impoverished parts of the world. It was launched in September 2007 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of United Arab Emirates, and Ruler of Dubai with the goal to educate 1 million children in poor countries.^[1]
