Eieg/D-Town Records and Bootzilla Productions Distributed By Marian/Sony Red

Dallas based Eieg/D-Town Records CEO Nate Edwards, met with Funk legend William "Bootsy" Collins CEO Of Bootzilla Productions, Patti Collins and Russell Driver in Cincinnati, Ohio at the tribute concert to Bootsy’s mentor, James Brown, near Cincinnati on Saturday December 22, 2007. Mr. Edwards, a native of Cincinnati, was in town to be with family and friends and lay to rest his mom’s twin sister, Edna Edwards Allbright, who passed December 19th 2007 from a long battle with cancer. Mr. Edwards reached out to Bootsy and wife Patti to pledge support from Eieg/D-Town Records and Koast2Koast Records for the tribute concert to James Brown. Edwards Independent Entertainment Group ‘Eieg/D-Town Records’ CEO Nate Edwards met with the Bootzilla Productions a few days later to discuss up-coming projects being sponsored by Bootzilla Productions, forming a strategic partnership.

Mr. Collins’ envisions an interactive experience where young people can learn about music, production, live instrumentation, participate in workshops, and perform on live shows. This is one of the missions that Eieg/D-Town Records of Dallas, Texas took on for Bad Boy South/Block Entertainment during the summer of 2006. Eieg/D-Town Records mentored artist from all over Texas, preparing them for the “Hood 2 Hood Talent Search Showcase” (sponsored by: Boyz N Da Hood) teaching them how to put together Press kits, Demo Packages, and develop their stage presence.
