- Pre-colonial Indonesia: A summary page, covering all civilizations/empires before the Dutch East Indies period, or as many as is feasible. Esp. since History of Indonesia is getting bloated.
- Post-Independence Indonesia: Basically, a history of the Sukarno years (1945 - 1965).
- Reformation (Indonesia): An article covering the recent history of Indonesia, from 1998 to present.
[edit] In need of additions
- Dutch East Indies: Suffers from Eurocentrism. Needs a lot more on indigenous resistance to colonialism. No mention of Indonesian nationalist movement. No mention of Multatuli.
- New Order (Indonesia): Needs references copied from Suharto.
- Indonesian Revolution of 1998: Need more on underground student movement. Needs References section.
- Indonesian Civil War: Truth and Reconciliation effort left uncovered.

- Suharto: Criticized as too narrowly focused on political career. Needs fleshing out of military career. Needs stuff on leadership style/personality.
- History of Indonesia: If a page could be made of Pre-colonial Indonesia, then the corresponding section in History of Indonesia could be much more refined.
