I'm a forty-something male somewhere in London

I've used Wikipedia extensively for research with my work and for general reference. It's a fantastic resource for which I'm very grateful. My contributions at the moment are fitful and mostly minor. I've just started making userboxes, which is a daft pass-time.

I've had various jobs, the last two have been working as an outreach/project worker in Mental Health and Homelessness. I'm now a writer.

Food is one of my main passions. Although I'm not a highly skilled or talented cook, I enjoy the process and often produce some quality grub (as well as the odd disaster). I have familial hypercholesterolemia (genetically high cholesterol) and don't get on with Statin medication, so I'm very interested in cooking and eating low-cholesterol, healthy food (with occasional indulgences).

I drink way too much. I'm probably alcohol dependent, but it could be just habit. I intend to cut down soon. I do really love it though. Favourite drinks: Whiskey, Wine, Gin and Tonic, warm English bitter (but I can get on well with cold lager).

I am a liberal (or progressive) Christian. I tend toward Trinitarian Universalism. I have no idea where to worship at the moment...

I'm queer and in a technically open but mostly monogamous relationship with a sweet guy whom I love. We're into our fifth year and planning to do the civil partnership thing soon.

I also like various forms of creative writing, watching some movies, reading, running, walking, a bit of TV, and researching the filthy, greedy, warmongering, murderous, lying elites who really run this world and own our slimeball corrupt governments, secret 'services' and media.
