I took this photo specifically for the drywall article.
I'm not sure what it is about these things that makes them so hard to photograph, but this was the best of three shots I tried to take. I had tried before, with an older camera, and got nothing usable at all. This attempt was with a fairly new, albeit consumer-grade, digital camera, and while it's not great, the general design can be seen.
The photo has been processed with Gimp, using the crop tool, the color levels tool, and an unsharp mask filter. What's really needed is just a better photo, but this is the best I was able to manage with a consumer-grade camera, not being a professional photographer. Anyone with a better camera (or better expertise) for taking close-ups of small objects, feel free to upload a much better photo in place of this one.
