Dryer ball
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dryer balls are pairs of spiky plastic balls marketed by Green Lane Products Ltd for the purpose of helping soften fabrics without chemicals in a tumble clothes dryer. Green Lane registered their most marketed design in 2004 as a blue ball with square spikes and a pink ball with round spikes. Several other designs were registered simultaneously. Green Lane offers laboratory test results proving their effectiveness. A recent British High Court action against PMS and pound shop operator Poundland who marketed a similar product was settled out of court.[1]
