Drumcree (Irish: Druim Criadh) is a village in County Westmeath in the Republic of Ireland on the R395 regional road. This sign post stands next to a dis-affected Church of Ireland chapel. The sign post photo was take viewing the west, in the Granard direction. This village is also part of Saint Mary's Parish, Collinstown, and a sister parish of the Fore Abbey parish of Saint Feichin.
The village of Drumcree is situated upon a cross-roads, fringes parts of the Barbavilla Bog, the Glackstown Bog, and Mullacruaigh bog, all of which have been harvisted for winter fuel for generations by the different neighbouring communities.
