Milan Pesic was born on May 28th,1961. in Leskovac, Serbia. Graduated at Pozarevac Elementary & High school with highest grades. Since 1971 practiced Judo (with Ju-Jitsu) under Master L. Jecic, since 1975. competitor, since 1977. national referee (probably the youngest in the world), since 1979. instructor, from 1977 to 1980 junior national team. From Oct. 1980. to Sept. 1981. close combat instructor at anti-terrorist assault unit of Ex-Yug. Army in Jastrebarsko and Zagreb. From 1981. to 1986. practice at Judo-club “Partizan” Belgrade under S. Ivanovic sensei (“the father of Yugosl. Judo”). Graduated from Belgrade University Medical School in March 1987. and in June started transitional residency and becomes a Headcoach of Judo-club “Mladi radnik” in Pozarevac soon to be known as “Bambi” Judo-club. Organiser of national and international tournaments in Pozarevac (“Bambi” Cup of Yugoslavia). 1988. passed the State License Examination for Med. Doctors and entered residency in General Surgery in Belgrade and postgraduate studies in Zagreb in General Surgery. 1991. Graduated from The Faculty of Physical Education - Department of Judo defending the thesis: “Comparison in efficiency of conventional and traditional (Chino/Japanese Kappo or Kwatsu) medicine in the most common trauma in combat sports.” Same year in Pozarevac founded WASHIDOKAN (“The Way of Eagle Institute”) for development of his own Martial Art WASHIDO. In June of 1992, after the completion of surgical residency and postgraduate course in digestive tract moves to Italy and enters a three-year fellowship in Cancer Surgery and holds the position of the Secretary of Scientific Research for the “Mater Dei” Onchospital, University of Bari, Italy. As a Judo coach (J.C.”Franco Quarto” Bari, J.C. Molfetta i J.C. Andria) and a Jujitsu instructor (Martial Arts Center Molfetta with Maestro Savino Fabiano (5.DAN - National Director); Martial Arts Center “Kankudai” in Bari where works intensively on Kick-boxing with G. Santangelo and Italo Scrrocchia (5.DAN - National Director for Kick-boxing and Kick-jitsu), Shotokan karate under Carmelo Malleo sensei and Full-contact with Zan Pol Pace. Learns Iaido and Aikido under Sujiyama sensei and Ju-jitsu with Maestro Mauricio Silvestri (5.DAN). 1995. promoted to 4.DAN in Judo, Ju-jitsu and Kick-jitsu (after the Kick-jitsu World title in Rome, under F.I.K.B.&D.A.). The same year moves to USA and starts Shogun Academy of Martial Arts, in 2001 recognized as one of the 100 best Martial Arts schools on the planet. 1996 continues his surgical career mostly at Chicagoland Elmhurst Memorial Hospital at one of the world’s best crews in laparoscopic surgery. In 1997. Becomes the Jujitsu National director by USJJF and gets promoted to 9.DAN Jujitsu and Kick-jitsu. In 1998 he’s 13 students won 13 medals at Junior Judo National Championship. The same year gets inducted into The World Combat Arts Hall of Fame (Green Bay, Wisconsin, SAD) and The World Martial Arts League Hall of Fame (Frankfurt, Germany). The same year gets recognized as the founder (Soke, Grandmaster) of WASHIDO with highest rank of 10.DAN (USMA). Inducted into The Worlds Sports Medicine Hall of Fame as The Physician of the year 1999. (Cleveland, Ohio, USA). In 1999 following the promotions in 10th DAN Jujitsu and Washidokan Jujitsu recognized as a holder of three Grandmaster titles by the U.S. Grandmasters Council and the National Martial Arts Registration Bureau. The same year gets promoted into 10.DAN Kick-jitsu. The same year gets inducted into The World Martial Arts Hall of Fame with honorary title of Doctor of Martial Arts and a lifetime membership of the World Martial Atrs Hall of Fame Grandmasters Council. Inducted into the Martial Arts Pioneers, Masters and Legends Hall of Fame as the Grandmaster of the year 2000. In the same year becomes the Court Expert in Martial Arts nationwide, the president of The Supreme International Sokeship (Grandmasters) Council and Dean of The North American Institute for Martial Arts And Sciences in Chicago. In 2002. gets promoted into 8.DAN Judo and in 2003. into 6.DAN Aikido, 6.DAN Shotokan Karate and 6.DAN Kick-boxing with title of Professor and MEIJIN of Martial Arts with two additional Doctorates in Japanese Martial Arts Philosophy and Martial Arts Education (both by the International Council of Higher Education in Martial Arts in Frankfurt, Germany)… Fluent in Serbian, English, Italian and Spanish.
