The Dronfield Henry Fanshawe School is a high acieving comprehensive secondary school, for ages 11-18 in North East Derbyshire, under the control of County Hall, Matlock. The school has a long, historic past, dating back to the 1580s, when it was endowed by Henry Fanshawe. The current headteacher is Miss T. B. Roche, after succeeding Mr C. J. Burke in 2006.
