You mentioned you were thinking about updating the history section of Snowboarding. I think you should go for it. The article as it's written now doesn't have nearly enough references or verifiable content -- it looks like it's been written by fans. That's not bad in itself, but as an encyclopedia I think we can do better. Just remember to provide references for your content.
