A second driver reminder appliance is needed for when a driver passes a signal at stop in accordance with regulations. The DRA2 would restrict the train to a low speed since the train is now proceeding on sight. Because drivers normally accelerate to normal speed so often it can be difficult to remember that for once great caution is required. The DRA2 would restrict the train to a suitable slow speed.
