Drijat

Drijat (Arabic: دريجات; Hebrew: דריג'את), also known as al-Drijat (Arabic: الدريجات; Hebrew: א-דריג'את) is an Israeli-Arab Bedouin village located near the city of Arad in the northern Negev. In 2005, it became the first town in the world to be outfitted with a multipurpose solar electricity system for providing power to the entire village. and reducing pollution.[1] It joined the Abu Basma Regional Council in 2004.
