[edit] Released
Dallas Cowboys.com has an article up about him being released, so I updated the article.
[edit] Minor League Play?
I removed a line about him "splitting time" between the Yankees and the Wolverines, because I don't believe NCAA rules would allow for this. If someone can cite this, please do so and add it back, and accept my apologies. pbones 19:15, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
NCAA rules will not allow an athlete to play both college and professional football concurrently, but Henson actually signed a multi-million dollar contract with the Yankees while still playing football for Michigan. As long as they are two different sports, the NCAA has no issue with it. However, I'm not sure what you mean about "splitting time." There may be some rules against practicing with any professional team during the duration of the football season, but don't know. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.18.7.193 (talk) 01:37, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
