[edit] ambiguity?

Could the following sentence be rewritten to avoid ambiguity? "After the mural was painted, one of the senior elders, Long Tom Onion, went to Bardon and forcefully reminded him that it was his suggestion the mural be painted." Mickiewiki 04:21, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
