Ng Chiew Kiat was born in year 1963 at District Hospital of Pontian, South Johore, Malaysia. His father is Ng Teck Meng, a Chinese Medical Physician from Singapore. His mother is a Kindergarten Teacher from Malacca. They stay at Jalan Alsagoff, Pontian, Johor, Malaysia until Ng Chiew Kiat joint Malaysia Royal Police in 1982.
In 1990, Ng Chiew Kiat married with Chen Chew Har. Their daughters are Ng Gee Jing and Ng Choo Jing.

In 2003, Ng Chiew Kiat establishes Asia Outsourcing Project Consultants as a Director. In 2004, Ng Chiew Kiat was joint Singapore People Party as a Youth Wing Committee Members. In 2006, Ng Chiew Kiat was an Election Agent for Mr Chiam See Tong. In 2006, Ng Chiew Kiat was joint Potong Pasir Town Council as an Acting Town Secretary. In 2006, Ng Chiew Kiat establishes Red Star Community Service as an Executive Director (Volunteer) and Hon Secretary. In 2007, Ng Chiew Kiat was elected as President of Red Star Community Service. In 2007, Ng Chiew Kiat was appointed as General Manager in a List MNC's Company.
