Drakesbad Guest Ranch, also known as Drake's Baths, Drakesbad Resort or Hot Springs Valley is a resort in Chester, California. It is located on Hot Springs Creek at the head of Warner Valley, in Lassen Volcanic National Park.
The resort is at 6,200 feet altitude, features kerosene lamps although it was electrified in the 1990's, and has no room keys.[2]
It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
A November 2007 Los Angeles Times Travel feature article includes it within a top 15 list of California places to visit.[2]
