Dragan Petrovic, also known as Jazzy D, is a Toronto jazz musician.
Petrovic was born in Belgrade, Serbia and had a successful career as a professional musician there. He also composed and arranged music for theatres, radio and TV stations in Europe. He immigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada in the early nineties. In 2004, he established BG Music Academy, a music school and recording studio in the west end of Toronto.
Dragan, as Jazzy D, has a solid reputation as a sophisticated and highly respected Toronto musician and continues to broaden the modern jazz horizon. His reportoire of styles reflect both European and North American influences and he has an impressive emotional range.
