Dracon beams are a fictional ray guns primarily used by the Yeerk Empire and other species including Skrit Na and Helmacrons in the Animorphs book series.

Dracon beams have 10 power settings:

  1. pain 1
  2. pain 2
  3. pain 3
  4. burn
  5. stun
  6. kill
  7. Burn hole through concrete
  8. dematerialise
  9. destroy an aircraft
  10. burn 10 ft hole through titanium and fire underwater

Dracon beams are modified from Andalite shredder technology combined with particle technology to make it more painful. they are also used in starships ,gleet biofilters,hunter robots and sometimes sunglasses lenses. Dracon beams are powered by energy cells and come in different sizes, hork-bajir,humans or taxxons
