Dr Grace Foley is a fictional character in the TV show Waking The Dead on the BBC. Dr Grace Foley played by Sue Johnston is a forensic psychologist who works with a CID team. She joined the team in season 1.

Grace began her professional life as a botanist but moved into forensic science and, fascinated by criminology, became a forensic psychologist.

Grace has nearly 30 years experience in her field, originally entering the force as forensic profiler. Her presence on the unit provides a rational counter to Detective Superintendent Peter Boyd's dogmatic and somewhat unorthodox methods but she enjoys a close working relationship with him.
