Dr. Radley Tate

Dr. Radley Tate is a fictional character in the 1999 film The Other Sister, portrayed by Tom Skerritt. His youngest daughter, Carla (Juliette Lewis), is the film's main character.
He is a wealthy dentist and a reformed alcoholic. He is more permissive to Carla's needs than his wife, Elizabeth (Diane Keaton). Radley feels that his daughter could become a veterinarian's assistant instead of being locked up in the house all day feeling sorry for herself.
His mansion and lifestyle are funded by the many patients he receive in his private practice.
