[edit] McDonald's

A few thoughts about McDonald's. Have you ever noticed the sign at McDonald's "over 99 billion sold"? To make the figures easier I will use 100 billion as thier amount sold. So lets say every one of those was a regular 3.5oz burger then: At 9 grams of fat per burger that =900,000,000,000 grams of fat. But what about the french fries? if 90% of the people get *small* fries that adds a total of 1,170,000,000,000 more grams of fat.

But thats just a conserative estimate...

Not many people get the smallest size of burger...

Let's say every one gets a quarter pounder and 40% get a quarter pound cheeseburger. thats 1,140,000,000,000+1,040,000,000,000=2,180,000,000,000. But what about medium fries?(assuming the same (90%) 2,180,000,000,000+1,800,000,000,000=3,980,000,000,000, almost four trillion grams of fat!

But now with the same figures but for calories..

Lake Eire
Lake Eire

24,600,000,000,000+20,400,000,000,000+34,200,000,000,000=79,200,000,000,000 calories But that is without a drink assuming 95% of people get the median calorie drink with 130 calories that equals 12,350,000,000,000 calories, add that to the previos total and the grand total is 103,800,000,000,000 calories!!!!! That's enough to raise the temperture 1 degree in a fifth of Lake Eire.
