[edit] Trouble with which websites?

Although it seems to download fine from most content management systems, it does appear to have trouble with websites like http://www.divx.com/

What characteristic of "websites like http://www.divx.com/" makes them problematic? Brianjd 08:31, 2004 Dec 29 (UTC)

it doesn't,that's a lie this whole article is made in a way to spam the software,some1 should re-write this

[edit] Download Accelerator Plus?

Isn't the proper name Download Accelerator Plus (DAP) for both free and paid-for versions? (1)

I don't want to rename the article in case I'm wrong, I'll put up redirect in the meantime.

You are right. I renamed the article. --Meno25 17:19, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
The non-freeware version is called Download Accelerator Plus Premium.--Aqmaster 15:39, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Poorly written

This aticle needs a lot of work, it reads like an advertisment. I have deleted references to OS X support because there is no mention of such support on their website.

[edit] about cleanup

  • having ads is not a software problem. programmers have to live from something, if one doesn't buy the software
  • setting up dap is preety easy. its not my opinion, its a fact
  • it responds to http errors, and supports content management systems. so, if your browser starts a download, which would originaly link to a webpage, DAP will open it.

i've removed this content. older versions could have these problems, but thy to talk about the most recent version. --Drhlajos 10:40, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Poor spelling & Grammar

The spelling and grammar on this article is abysmal. I've fixed some of it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.198.8.185 (talk) 23:59, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
