Downs Light Railway

The Downs Light Railway is the world's oldest private miniature railway, with a track gauge of 9½ inches, located in the grounds of the Downs Preparatory School (Colwall, Malvern, Worcestershire). Built and opened in 1925, the Railway is used as an educational medium for Children aged between 7 and 13 years.

The Downs Light Railway is owned by the Downs Light Railway Trust, who are responsible for the Railway's preservation.
