Description

Dove Holes in Derbyshire. Old railway, Dove Holes This old quarry railway passes under the A6 via the bridge shown, close to its junction with the still extant main Buxton-Manchester line (one side of a cutting on this line is visible - covered in a black mesh to prevent slippage - to the right of the picture). The farm at the top left is Hallsteads Farm.
