[edit] Spelling

The historical marker (a picture of which is part of this article) reads "double-barrelled", with a double-l. Is the spelling (single l) used here also acceptible? PurpleChez (talk) 19:04, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Just answered my own question...Merriam Webster says both are correct. PurpleChez (talk) 19:06, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
