| Purpose of use |
This is an image of a structure believed (by some) to be an early embryo, which, if true, is vitally important to the evolution of the Ediacaran biota. Even with the dispute over the accuracy of the claims, they are an important part of scientific research into the Ediacaran biota, and there is no other way to really explain what the debate is about without showing them. |
