Douglas E Krueger
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Douglas Krueger is an American philosopher, academic and author. He is best known as a proponent of atheism--the belief that there is no God--and an advocate of skepticism regarding supernatural and paranormal claims. Krueger has been a featured speaker at numerous atheist and humanist organizations and has defended atheism in several public debates across the United States. His book, What is Atheism: A Short Introduction, is a concise and hard-hitting--though many have claimed unfairly biased--critique of religious belief, especially Christianity.
He resides in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he is father to four children, and teaches philosophy at Northwest Arkansas Community College. He is working on a Ph.D. in philosophy at the University of Arkansas. Krueger has also participated in more than a dozen debates on the existence of God and on the subject of secular ethics.
