Doug Stanton is an author and a founder of the Traverse City Film Festival. He is currently writing a screenplay adaptation of his last book, In Harm's Way for producer Mark Gordon. His next book, The Horse Soldiers, chronicles the American incursion into Afghanistan in 2001, and is slated for publication at the end of 2008 or early 2009.[1]
